IFW Committee approves hike in ATV registration fees

The legislature’s Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Committee voted unanimously on July 10 to approve a hefty fee increase for ATV registrations to pay for trail maintenance.

The committee also added a provision to allow the state and landowners to restrict ATV sizes on trails.

The ATV fees will go up $25 across the board, meaning for every type of registration, the resident will go from $45 to $70, NR 7-day from $75 to $100 and NR annual from $90 to $115 to go into effect on May 1, 2021 in time for when folks can begin registering for the 21-22 season.
