Children will love this book

Marty Kelley has written an amazing children’s book that kids will race through. OK, I did too! Albert’s Almost Amazing Adventure, published by Islandport Press in Yarmouth, features a young boy telling his friends about his amazing adventures.

But as he begins each story, you turn the page and one of his friends has imagined something fantastic. But on the next page, the boy says, No, No, and tells his much more realistic story. This continues all the way through the book.

Marty also illustrated her book, and those illustrations will captivate kids. I especially liked the illustrations of the boy riding a shark and riding a dinosaur. And no, those really didn’t happen!

Eventually, the boy’s friends get bored by his stories, and leave, at which point the boy actually gets a visitor from outer space. Yep, that really happened.

I guarantee kids will love this book and read it often.
