I suppose if you can convince two pigs who live in and love Ohio to move to Maine you could convince anybody to do that.
Martha Couture’s book Parker’s Cousins – Moving to Maine? – produced and designed by Maine Authors Publishing – is one that you, your children, and your grandchildren will enjoy. Two Maine pigs try to convince their cousins from Ohio to move to Maine. And the book is full of wonderful photos, many of which will remind you of why you love Maine.
To convince their cousins to move to Maine, they take them on lots of Maine adventures, from lobstering to Mount Katahdin. They take them fishing and to the Maine Wildlife Park. They spend time on a beautiful ocean beach and visit a lighthouse.
They even enjoy the food at several Maine restaurants including, of course, When Pigs Fly, and ice cream and candy in several places. Well, these are pigs, after all. And of course, they saw a moose.
I don’t want to give away the ending, but I think you can guess what those Ohio cousins decided to do!
