This summer an exciting new exhibit will open in Greenville, called “Moosehead’s Outdoor Heritage.” You will definitely want to see this exhibit.
The exhibit will be in the barn of the Moosehead Historical Society & Museum in Greenville Junction. Linda and I have visited the museum and it has lots of interesting things.
The new exhibit features lots of interesting history, including information and stories about the region’s sporting camps and guides, and it’s wild animals. It will have large images of the region’s woods, waters, and mountains.
It even has a full mount of a cow moose and her two twins. The moose was hit by a car and killed, and the taxidermist was able to prepare both the cow and her twins. And they’ll have some trophy landlocked salmon, brook trout, and lake trout.
There will also be stories about game wardens’ rescues in the region too.
And there’s lots more in this exhibit, so be sure to visit it this summer.
