Maine Conservation Voters Ambitious Legislative Priorities

The Maine Conservation Voters, in partnership with the Maine Environmental Priorities Coalition, has a very ambitious list of issues, initiatives and legislative priorities.

In a recent message, MCV’s Beth Ahearn wrote: “We are laser-focused on climate action and clean energy; and we will continue our efforts to protect clean water, improve public lands and fight back against pollution and toxic chemicals.”

From expansion of solar power to investments in parks and public lands to upgrading water quality in Maine’s rivers and streams to encouraging the use of reusable bags to reducing toxic chemicals in our food packaging, MCV’s list of priorities is going to keep them very busy.
