Native Fisheries Coalition has accomplished a lot

In a short period of time the Native Fisheries Coalition has accomplished a great deal, certainly enough to be worthy of your support and participation.

Just a year after gaining it’s 501c3 status, the Coalition has become an important voice for our wild native fish and built a fantastic and very experienced team of board members and volunteers. Its my privilege to serve on their Maine board of directors.

NFC has worked hard to build an excellent website and social media presence.  It includes a blog run by National Chair Ted Williams, an active Facebook page, and a great website.  Check out the website and consider getting involved in this excellent initiative.

Their website is https://nativefishcoalition.org/.

For Christmas, consider some of their products for your fishing friends (or yourself). Those items include decals, bumper stickers, hats, beverage koozies, Amadou patches, signs, and signed books written by NFC board and advisory council members, as well as miscellaneous raffle items.  Additional items will be added in the months to come.  NFC branded products can be purchased at shows, presentations, and through their online store.

NFC has taken to the road to get the “native fish message out there.  This includes doing shows in Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire, as well as presentations in these and other states. And the group has been blessed with a significant amount of positive media coverage in our first year.

All great news for our native fish.
