Have you seen Lawrence the Lighthouse in the ocean?

Angela Ferrari’s Story Spectacular – a children’s story podcast – is, well, spectacular. Angela is a talented story teller and artist. You can access her podcasts at www.storyspectacular.com.

Angela has also published 5 wonderful books for kids. I just got her two new books, and dived right into Lawrence the Lighthouse. It’s very imaginative and entertaining.

Lawrence is a lighthouse who fears the ocean, until a storm blows him into the water and he’s rescued by a shark. Angela’s illustrations are fantastic, especially the ones of the lighthouse in the ocean surrounded by ocean creatures.

I’m looking forward to reading this to my two young granddaughters. They already love the ocean, and I’ll bet, after reading this book, they’ll be on the lookout for Lawrence the Lighthouse floating out there in the ocean!
