Silly Seals photos and captions are very entertaining

The photos of seals in Silly Seals are awesome, and the captions by author Karen Morgan will make you laugh – a lot.

Published by Down East Books, Silly Seals features photos by On The Mark Wildlife Photography and Steve De Neef Photography. All I can say is these guys must spend a lot of time in and under water.

Some of my favorite photos were the seal covering his eyes with a fin (caption: How many times have I told him – those swim trunks don’t fit him anymore), a ledge full of seals (caption: George, I told you all of the good seats would be taken if we didn’t hurry. But no, you had to stop for squid), a seal floating above a gorgeous bunch of seaweed (caption: I think Freddy needs new glasses. He’s been talking to that seaweed for an hour), and a mother and baby seal sleeping (caption: Today was little Johnny’s birthday party. We all had way too much cake).

Karen is a professional comedian who has performed all over the country. She grew up in Athens Georgia, but eventually figured out the best place in the world to live is Maine. And I can tell you, she has a great imagination!
