I love the concept. The kids write and sing their songs on one CD, and then an all-star cast of adults perform their own versions of the same songs. And I have to be honest here – I loved the kids’ songs the best.
OK, the adults CD is very good too, but boy, those kids sing their hearts out. From “Little Chickadee” to “Looking for the Sweet Spot” to “I Love Chickens” to “It Was About Throwing Things,” you will be amazed and delighted.
Executive Producer Chandra Oppenheim and musical director/co-producer Dan Capaldi, did a super job with and for these kids. The CDs were recorded at Halo Studios in Windham and engineered by NEMA Producer of the Year 2017, Jonathon Wyman.
Chandra, the founder of Rain Boots Records, says, “I was lucky, I found my voice at age 10. Now, decades later, I want to provide a platform, in words and music, for kids to say what’s on their minds, for them to express themselves.”
As a teenager Chandra crashed the early 80s post punk NYC club scene with Transportation, her time tested vinyl cult classic. Today she is mom to a 10-year-old phenom of her own, Issa Innisfree, one of the nine young songwriters showcased on World Of My Dreams.

This will be the perfect Christmas gift for your friends, family members, children, and grandchildren, and yes, for you too. Enjoy!
